Resting on my laurels

Took today off running – rest the old pins a bit. πŸ™‚

Cancer update… 6 months of Chemo ahead, with a good chance this will kill the cancer in the lymph glands. Fingers crossed and all that.

Long lunch run tomorrow.

PS Preston and I got some verbal abuse runnning the other day, it was rather a well thought out rant, not! a white van man shouted “Your Running!” yeup! we are…

  1. Fingers crossed for you mate. Hope it goes as smoothly as possible. πŸ™‚

Hope the pain has subsided too, can’t have you limping around!

On a side note, how’s everyone at work?

  2. Wow, you’ve really been putting in the miles! You certainly deserve a break!

Sorry about your dad. Cancer, and cancer treatments, really change what you can do – but in another year you and your dad should be on the bikes again!

    All the best!

  3. πŸ™‚ thanks for the thoughts guys πŸ™‚

The hospital have told us that it will be a bad six months because of the operation that he has had the chemo will hit him hard, and he may need to be back in hospital at times… But fingers crossed this time next year it will all be cool.

John – Everyone says hi – it’s not going to bad here, lots of change though :-X

Hi to Un-Runner πŸ˜€ thanks for the comment, always good to hear from fellow nutters πŸ˜› Hope it goes as well as it can for your friend as well.

    cheers

  4. Hopefully your dad will come out the other end fighting fit rather than fighting cancer mate. πŸ™‚

Thanks for the message from all at work, hello back! Hope all is well and good. πŸ™‚
